Dog Training in Glasgow

At Best Paw Forward Dog Training we take a modern, force free approach to dog training. Our aim is to create a lifelong bond of trust between owners and their dogs with kind and effective methods of training.

Best Paw Forward was established in 2014. Owners Tracy and Lynn have been working together for the past 20 years; previously as Registered Veterinary Nurses in the Glasgow area. Their interest in the welfare of dogs developed during this period with a particular passion towards puppy development, training and dog behaviour.

In October 2015 Best Paw Forward opened its purpose designed training unit at Huntershill Village, Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, with non-slip matting throughout, providing an important level of safety and comfort for both you and your dog, while enjoying some of our more energetic classes on offer.

We currently operate classes in Bearsden and Bishopbriggs where we encourage all ages to get enthusiastic about training their dogs. Class sizes are kept small, usually around 6 dogs, giving you, your dog a more personal and tailored training experience.

We work closely with the fantastic Bravehound charity which provides companion dogs to veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. We assist with the training of new puppy recruits, as well as supporting puppy walkers and veterans with new or existing dogs.
